Quick Synopsis
-an entire wedding party comes down with a terrible gastrointestinal infection during a wedding reception. Except two attendees: The Bride and Grooms' Siblings. Of note, they HATE eachother. They both reluctantly agree to go on their siblings honeymoon because, well, The Bride and Groom are too busy calling the dinosaurs, and will be in the bathroom for the foreseeable future. The comical scenes start rolling in beginning on the plane ride towards their palm tree infested destination. A few awkward dinners, a share honeymoon suite, and some run ins with the ex's, a new boss, all create a scene for these two to finally see eachother at face value. Such a funny and warm read. And knowing it will be coming to the big screen makes it that much better.
The main female character, was very relatable as she had a very hard time lying. And to keep appearances on the honeymoon, she had to pretend like she was her twin sister among other things! She was a bit of a pessimist and was self conscious in her own skin. Ethan, who she goes to Maui for free with, was misunderstood but overall a tenderhearted good guy.
As for most of the audiobooks i listen to, I always wish I had read it. However, this one was really easy to follow and I still can recommend this even as an audiobook. If you are a fan of the romance trope, Friends to Enemies, then this one will be right up your alley!
