I picked this book up because it was giving “The Wilds” vibes.

Strange things start happening to each of the teen athletes and one of them is also a scholar and trying to figure out what is happening before it is too late. --

Book has an intriguing cover with a great synopsis on the back which peaked my thriller/mystery interest. However, this book was just not for me. I could not wrap my head around the ending. The justification was not understood by the others, yet they continued to all agree that it was "normal" behavior. It seemed very bizarre and "out there". And this was all done to shine light on a particular topic. Yes, the topic bears discussing. However, I was not a fan of how it was done. I liked the story line fine, but none of it was well executed. I am just glad that I am done with this one. I will not be picking up any of this authors' other works.
