🧇 Tell Me Three Things: a review

This is a story about friendship: a story of unconditional love between two friends where, yes they will let each other down, but they will bear their souls and offer up forgiveness and help each other to heal.  Jesse has lost her mom. She has to leave her friends and everything that she has called home and start again across the country with her dad and new stepfamily.  It is because of these past traumas in her young life that Jessie believes she doesn’t deserve the good things in life. She watches everyone else receive those things but places them as dreams, far back in the recesses of  her mind. Her walls have been put up and nothing or anything else that could ultimately hurt her are getting in. She has blinders on to where she can’t even see the goodness awaiting her as it is right in front of her. It’s also a story of healing and allowing others passage into your life, to break down the barriers of your heart.  The character development is wonderful and you fall in love with the two main characters immediately and root for them the entire way through. This coming of age story makes you remember there really is still good out there you just have to open your eyes (and your heart) to see it and remember it is worth fighting for.
